Art Show at Size Records, Oklahoma City

Pretty much self explanatory.
Josh Heilaman is one of my favorite artists and he was kind
enough to lend a few of his smaller pieces to the show.

Unique LA 2010

A dear friend of mine, Kristi Klemens, has invited me to share her booth at Unique LA this year.  Kristi has an eye for beauty and captures stunning images.  Her creativity is abundant and doesn't stop with photography.  She has been creating one of a kind accessories and offers vintage or antique jewelry to compliment each creation. She encompasses organic and natural materials that come from the soil or sea within each unique piece, customizing them to your style, either vintage or modern.  Her intricate creations can be found at www.thesoilandsea.com.  I'll be showing a few original paintings and will have all three of my prints available (also available at my etsy shop).  I can't wait to see the wares and goodies from the other vendors!  If you're up for a mini adventure in downtown LA this weekend, stop by and see us.  We'll be in booth 217 conveniently located next to the free drinks.  (YES!)

Meanwhile, back at the bat cave, I'm working on our mirror signs.  I'm impatiently waiting for them to dry.
Here's my sign. . . half finished. (I think)

Vim

This piece took quite a bit of time to create.
The background is a result of a week of using
caustic chemicals to get the rust effect just right.
I could have very easily used paint to fake the look
but I let go of the reigns and let "nature" do it's thing.
She's so pretty. Original available here.

Attention Please

Ah, the attention whore.
This piece, along with several others, is painted on reclaimed wood.
Several friends of mine build sets and have graciously given me
pieces of wood they have broken down from commercials, photo shoots,
movies, music videos, and what-have-yous.  The one and only
Scott McDonald donated this would-be-trash plank so I threw
paint on it and signed the corner.  Presto. Art.

Star Princess
